New poem: "Spin"

Spin

I hate spin.

I really hate it.
I hate spin more

than I hate sin,

which loves me

more than I hate

spin. That’s the

quandary we find

ourselves in when

we spin what favors

sin, which Trump

 deniers (including

Trump) love

 to do.

New poem: "When He's Offended"

When He’s Offended

Oh, he can be petulant,

the 45th and 47th President

of the United States; and

his petulance can be spiteful

when he’s offended. But

over time, he regrets what

he’s done and tries to make

amends. He prays to be better,

and believes he can; but it’s

the way he’s been wired, and

he continues to be spiteful

when he’s offended.

New poem: "Mission Fulfilled"

Mission Fulfilled

The closer he gets to his destined

purpose, the less the trolls have

to say about the Donald; and what

they do say is enfeebled by his many

accomplishments. It`s no longer

necessary to prove himself, he`s far

exceeded his initiative, including

his infinite agreement with Greenland;

and I can`t wait to see the end result

of his mission fulfilled.

New poem: "Without Sham"

Without Shame

I can see why holy men recede

from society and live in isolation

to retreat from all the deception

in our woke world so replete with

the phoney real it mocks the human

spirit; and not one day passes that

these men of good conscience do

not pray in isolation for the warrior

of common sense to turn his woke

world right side up again, so they

can return and partake of life

once more, without shame.

New poem: "The Archetypal Smirk of Conceit"

The Archetypal Smirk of Conceit

I wondered, pondered, and reflected

for years why some high-profile people

annoyed me; but while reading something

Jeshua said in the artist Glenda Green’s

book The Keys of Jeshua, I saw the source

of my unease with these people: “when

one soul truly honors the presence of God

in another, wholeness and holiness are

welcomed.” While reading Jesua’s sacred

words, an image of the movie star Emily

Blunt came to mind, how behind her every

smile I saw the archetypal smirk of conceit

on her face that I saw in every high-profile

person who annoyed me; but taking Jeshua’s

words to heart, I honored the holy presence

of God in Emily Blunt’s life, and the virtue

of her personal excellence shone bright

enough for me to see the archetypal smirk

of my own personal conceit; and now I’m

free to enjoy all those high-profile

people who once annoyed me.
