New poem: "It's All About Story"

 

It’s All About Story

 

One has a story, and the other

wants a story; that’s what I took

away from the political debate

last night between Republican vice

presidential candidate J. D. Vance

and Democratic vice presidential

candidate Tim Walz, one whose life

story was made into a Hollywood

movie by the famous director Little

Opie Taylor, who now regrets making

the movie because he’s suffering

from TDS, and the other candidate

who struggled all evening making up

a story that he desperately wants

America to believe is real.
