All We’re Meant to Be
Alright, I’m going to say it.
God,
how long I’ve been putting this
off
for fear of my presumption, but I
have
to declare it: I no longer live
in the same
world as you. There, I’ve said
it. Your
world smothered my soul with the
blight
of too much, and how so much I
needed
relief. Then I heard the call and
found the
secret way out of your world, and
here
I am today, in the light of common
day,
living my life the same as you but
no
longer blind to life’s sacred purpose
to be
all we’re meant to be; and despite
life’s
cruel ingratitude, I bless you on
your
destined journey to selfhood.
