One Final Thought
Okay, I’m
here, at the end of a long
journey to the
promised land of my true
self, a new “I”
of God born of natural
evolution and
conscious individuation,
and I have told
my story in every genre
and now would
love to say goodbye
to the mystery
of the human condition
that mystifies
seekers, writers, and even
mystics who
have found some measure
of enlightenment
in this dark world,
and I want
to leave my beloved readers
with one final
thought that will satisfy
your need to
know, and that one thought
is that no
matter what you do, or how
many lives
you live, until you learn how
to love
yourself and the world you will
never be free
of your destiny to find
and be your true
soul self.

Evolutionary Perspective: The poet
frames human growth not just as personal psychology, but as a combination of
"natural evolution" and Carl Jung's concept of "conscious
individuation".
The New
"I": The culmination of this journey is the birth
of an "I" of God, suggesting that reaching the true self is a divine,
mystical awakening.
The Ultimate Solution: The poem positions love—specifically self-love and love for reality—as the only key to solving the “mystery of the human condition”.
Breaking the Cycle: Stocco
implies that without this love, individuals remain trapped in a cycle (“how
many lives you live”) and bound to an unfulfilled destiny.
A Gift to the Reader: The tone
is deeply intimate, framed as a parting gift to satisfy the reader’s “need to
know” before the author says goodbye.
