Like a Hapless Fool
knowing what I know is not enough
to fill a thimble, and what I do
know may or may not be true, and
I don’t know what to do as Putin’s
bombs make rubble of Ukrainian
cities, killing innocent people
and displacing millions, what to do,
what to say, what to think in times
like this; I honestly do feel
like a hapless fool.
